1 lb of brussel sprouts
2 TBS of olive oil
Preheat the oven to 400F (200 C).
Clean brussel sprouts and cut in half, put them in a mixing bowl, add salt to taste, olive oil, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning. If seasoning has salt in it - no need to add salt. In this recipe I used Penzeys Spices Forward seasoning. Mix everything well, so oil evenly covers all the brussel sprouts.
Place brussel sprouts on a baking sheet covered with silpat (non-stick liner). Spread them in an even layer and put in the oven for about 20-25 min. They are ready when golden brown.
Try different seasonings to find the one you love the most. My family also loved roasted brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar, I also added more balsamic after they were done - it was yummy!
