Recipe for Gluten Free Spicy Sausage burger
Ingredients

1 lb. ground pork

1 tsp. each salt, pepper, red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp. each sage, thyme and fennel seeds

1/4 nutmeg, fresh ground

4 gluten free hamburger buns

4 slices romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried

8 slices tomato

4 slices pepper jack cheese

4 slices red onion, if desired

light mayonnaise

dijon mustard

Preparation Method

Mix spices into meat and mix until just incorporated and shape into four separate 1/4 patties. Place a frying pan on medium high heat. Once heated, place patties into frying pan. Cook for appoximately 3-4 minutes per side, flip only once. Remove patties from pan, place on paper towels to drain. Meanwhile prepare buns and vegetables. Place one patty on each bun. Serve with sweet potato fries.
