1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, well-beaten
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, butter, eggs, and banana in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and walnuts until just combined. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a fork inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
