Recipe for Almond Butter Stuffed Dates
Ingredients

Dates, medjool

16.0 x 1 date, pitted (24g)

Nuts, almond butter, plain, without salt added

1.0 x 1 ounce (28g)

Nuts, almonds, dry roasted, without salt added [Includes USDA commodity food A255, A263]

1.0 x 1 ounce (28g)

Nuts, coconut meat, dried (desiccated), toasted

1.0 x 1 ounce (28g)

Nuts, coconut milk, canned (liquid expressed from grated meat and water)

1.0 x 1 tbsp (15g)

Preparation Method

Sliced open pitted dates and fill each date with almond butter. Top with a small amount of Coconut whipped cream, (the solid portion of an can of organic coconut milk. Add a sprinkle of toasted coconut and some slivered almonds. Enjoy!
