Camaron Empanizado (Jumbo Fried Shrimp)Camaron Empanizado (Jumbo Fried Shrimp) : Mar 02, 2014 - This restaurant is pure Mexican cuisine and fine dining. Although the Jumbo Fried Shrimp itself is prepared traditionally, the side dishes are local recipes such as Mexican rice and a green salad with avocado topping. The plate included 9 jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection and not cold upon arrival. The baked potato was heavenly with all the right garnishes. Although the price is slightly high at $14.99, it is a worth the dining experience due to exceptional customer service in a dining space with authentic Mexican decor.

Pork Tamales / Bean, Cheese, and Jalapeno TamalesPork Tamales / Bean, Cheese, and Jalapeno Tamales : Feb 09, 2014 - It used to be that tamales were for the holidays only or a special event. Because of Delia's Tamales, tamales are no longer for special occasions. I tried two types from a long list of specialty tamales such as pork tamales (a personal old favorite) and cheese, jalapeno, and bean tamales. I could tell that they were freshly steamed and were the right taste with the perfect amount of spices and texture. I was amazed that their tamales are shipped nationwide and it must be that visitors to our area or local people who move from this area still enjoy authentic well-made tamales.

Chicken CarbonaraChicken Carbonara : Feb 01, 2014 - The Chicken Carbonara included chicken, applewood smoked bacon, spring peas and linguine. The sauce was tasty and creamy and the pasta was cooked just right and not overcooked. This was a great meal for a cool winter night.
