After graduating college, I took French cooking lessons and fell in love with the art and science of cooking. I learned from chefs, cookbook authors, food scientists. My cousin and I started a catering business. A few years later, I was recruited to teach at Main Line School Night, where I have been for over 30 years.

Hong Kong Roasted Duck : Feb 22, 2014 - Sorry, I ate a piece before I took the picture. This is the small plate size, 1/4 duck, but it was a good size. Extra delicious with the plum wine and sake martini.

Tzatziki Sauce : 2014-01-29 09:12:59 - I make this all the time but without the olive oil. I will have to try it next time. If you salt the cucumber after you grate it and let it drain, you will get a lot more liquid out of the cucumber. Also if you squeeze it in a tea towel after draining, it is amazing how much juice you can remove.
